Canon EOS 5D Mark III - $2899 w/FS eBay DoD
Beach Camera has the Canon EOS 5D Mark III for $2899 through today's eBay deal of the day.Retail I believe is $3500. This has been lower as the deal of the day, but if you're in the market for a 5D III this is a decent price from an authorized dealer.
Granted that the Nikon D800 has an MSRP of $3000, I would expect pricing on the 5D III to continue to be aggresive.
