The .gov is offering a $300 tax credit for your purchase of an EPA certified wood stove or insert, so that comes back at the end of the year. With a Discover Cash Back of 5%, the final bill should be about $950 -47.50 -$300 = $600 and change.

Had my eye on these for a while as they had been marked at $49.97 for a few weeks. Was at the Dedham, MA Costco today and they had dropped to $19.97. This is an amazing price. These are great for emergency preparedness but also for camping. Can't go wrong with a 20 year shelf life. The one's I got in Dedham had a manufacturing date of less than 3 months ago. As always, Costco clearance is store specific so YMMV
