The reviews are really good, and I can tell you from personal experience that it sounds great, and has plenty of power. I've got one, and have been incredibly impressed with the quality of sound it puts out for the price and the size. I know a teacher who sets this at the front of her room and plays music over it while the class is doing work, and she's never had any complaints about lack of volume or clarity.
